London Marathon

Thembalitsha Supporters Take on the London Marathon!

We have three amazing teams who have taken on the challenge to run the London Marathon in support of Thembalitsha Foundation! Learn more and support about our runners below:

Virtual Runner One

Jan Scholtz

Jan is running the in-person London Marathon, running 26.2 miles from Blackheath to The Mall in London, England!

We are so thankful for Jan’s continued support as one of our biggest advocates. More information about Jan and his fundraising coming soon!

Virtual Runner Two

Thembalitsha Team

Yep, you heard that right! Thembalitsha staff pair up again to run the virtual London Marathon right in their backyard, or should we say beach, in South Africa. Staff from all the different projects and head office will gather together on October 2nd to relay the marathon and in support of their wonderful programmes that mean so deeply to them.

The London marathon is a time of solidarity for the Thembalitsha staff. It’s a time to get together, have fun and be physically active in joining hearts with those partaking in the event to support what Thembalitsha does.

Virtual Runner Three

Morgan Domijan

Morgan has been a big supporter of Thembalitsha Foundation after living in South Africa and seeing firsthand how Thembalitsha transforms communities. As a former teacher, she believes education has the power to uplift communities and Thembalitsha puts education at the forefront of its mission. Morgan is running to provide support to Thembalitsha's Early Education Centers and High School so students can continue to be educated, have a safe place to retreat to every day, receive daily and nutritious meals, and most importantly, be shaped to become leaders in their community.

We still have ONE virtual spot open
