Helping mothers gain the confidence, knowledge and resources they need to care for themselves and their children.

EVERY MOTHER DESERVES TO FEEL SEEN, SUPPORTED AND EQUIPPED.

THE FIRST 1,000 DAYS OF CAN INFLUENCE A CHILD’S
HEALTH, DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES.

From pregnancy through a child’s second birthday, rapid physical, cognitive and emotional development takes place. During this critical period, a child’s wellbeing is closely linked to the health, knowledge and support available to their mother. Research consistently shows that early nutrition, responsive caregiving and a nurturing environment during these formative years can have a lasting impact on a child’s development and long-term outcomes.

SUPPORTING A MOTHER IS ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS TO SUPPORT A CHILD.

Many mothers face challenges such as limited access to information, resources and support networks. By providing practical guidance, breastfeeding support, health education and ongoing encouragement, Thembalitsha helps mothers navigate the realities of pregnancy and early parenthood with greater confidence. When mothers are informed, supported and empowered, babies are more likely to thrive, families become stronger and communities benefit for generations to come.
