Bershrin’s Story

Bershrin is a former Graceland Educare learner and he shares that Graceland was the support and foundation he needed for his future success. Hear more from Bershrin, “Graceland was motivating for me because it helped me grow into the person I am today. I love maths and that’s where it began. I loved to read but wanted to read mathematics. Graceland gave me more attention for mathematics and supported my interest. When I went to Primary School, I could count and write my name, where many other children couldn’t do any of that. Graceland helped me communicate to people better and that’s what motivated me to go further in life. That is where my dream began to become an IT Technician.” Graceland is more than a school, but a support system that allows you to dream big and help you reach your goals.

When translated from Xhosa, our name “Thembalitsha” means “new hope”.

Our Aim
